I have this gray jacket that I usually wear to church
At the back of the jacket, there are 2 buttons
One of the buttons have been hanging by a thread
Literally, hanging by a strand of thread
The button have been hanging for quite sometime
Persons would bring it to my attention from time to time
But for some reason, purposefully,
I didn't fix it
Guess, I just wanted to see how long it would take before it falls off
So why am I telling the world about my jacket and its button
Like who cares about me and my garment, right?
I said all of that just to say this
There are times when we go through our 'going-through'
Love ones dying ever so regularly
Losing our job
Can't find the money to provide for the family
Can't see the next dollar to pay the bills
Somehow feels like we are literally hanging by a thread
You may be hanging by a thread
And not sure you can go on
I'm here to tell you
Go ahead, take that step
And tie a knot
Continue going on ... One more time
